Working 12 hours 6 till 6, 3on/3off/2on/2off style nights/days, nights/days 4 weekly rota, with alternateweekends off and only 5 rostered night shifts per 4 week cycle.The role requires you to repair and maintain a variety of extrusion and bakery equipment. This work includes breakdown repairs, machine servicing and improvement projects.We offer a very competitivesalary + additional shift pay and there is overtime available throughout the year.Key responsibilitiesBreakdown repairs, machine servicing and improvement projects.To help keep all maintenance and improvement records up to date.To prioritise your workloadand make sure that any breakdowns have as little impact as possible on production.Qualifications and skillsThe ideal candidate would be confidant in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.A recognised electrical/mechanical qualification (NVQ level 3 orequivelent).Computer skills (A knowledge of Excell, word, outlook, etc..)IET wirirng regulations (18th edition).Previous knowledge and use of an automated Maintenance system.IPAF licence (3a), although training can be provided if required.You will need tobe self-sufficient and proactive and work well alone or as part of a team.PLC and inverter experience would also be an advantage.
