Working 12 hours 6 till 6, 3on/3off/2on/2off style nights/days, nights/days 4 weekly rota, with alternate weekends off and only 5 rostered night shifts per 4 week cycle.The role requires you to repair and maintain a variety of extrusion and bakery equipment. This work includes breakdown repairs, machine servicing and improvement projects.We offer a very competitive salary + additional shift pay and there is overtime available throughout the year.Key responsibilities

  • Breakdown repairs, machine servicing and improvement projects.
  • To help keep all maintenance and improvement records up to date.
  • To prioritise your workload and make sure that any breakdowns have as little impact as possible on production.
Qualifications and skills
  • The ideal candidate would be confidant in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • A recognised electrical/mechanical qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivelent).
  • Computer skills (A knowledge of Excell, word, outlook, etc..)
  • IET wirirng regulations (18th edition).
  • Previous knowledge and use of an automated Maintenance system.
  • IPAF licence (3a), although training can be provided if required.
  • You will need to be self-sufficient and proactive and work well alone or as part of a team.
  • PLC and inverter experience would also be an advantage.
