Job Description

IT Service Desk Analyst Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly prestigious Professional Services client for an IT Service Desk Analyst to provide 1st / 2nd line helpdesk and remote desktop support for internal users.Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, the IT Service Desk Analyst will log calls and resolve issues or escalate to the IT team or third parties as required, and will assist with and support wider IT project related activities.Responsibilities

  • Support users as first point of contact for logging and resolving 1st/2nd line helpdesk/remote desktop support issues.
  • Escalate major systems issues to the IT team or 3rd parties as required.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Windows 10/11, MS O365, MS Office, Active Directory user account admin, Peripheral/IT Hardware support, Laptop/PC imaging, bespoke applications etc.
  • Assist with and support wider IT related activities; problem management, asset management, projects, IT Audits etc.
  • Installation and configuration of Desktop PCs, Laptops, Mobiles, iPads, Video Conferencing etc.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Degree in an IT related subject and/or Microsoft certification
  • Experience in a similar IT Service Desk/Helpdesk position
  • Strong Microsoft Desktop support skills - MS Windows 10, O365, MS Office
  • Strong IT Hardware and Software support skills - PCs, Laptops, Mobiles, AV, peripherals etc.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, exposure to Networks
  • ITIL awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is essential.
  • Professional outlook with regard to appearance, timekeeping, behaviour and attitude.
  • Experience within Professional Services desirable.
  • Good team player, enthusiastic and keen to develop skills and progress career.
