Job Description

Injection Moulding SetterOur client near Peterborough are currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter to join their busy mouldshop. This role will play a key part in ensuring production runs smoothly whilst minimising scrap and downtime. The position requires an individual withexcellent attention to detail, the ability to read/interpret blueprints and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Daily running of moulding machines in line with Mould shop capacity plan.
  • Set up and adjust injection moulding machines and equipment according to established procedures to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Perform tool changes and mould maintenance activities to prevent production downtime
  • Ensure that the manufactured product meets the required quality standard.
  • Processing a wide range of materials
  • Troubleshooting process issues
Requirements for the role
  • Have experience in tool changes, setting and mould machine operation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the injection moulding process, including tool changes, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Ensure Production Area is tidy, clean and safe during their shift
  • Understand safe working practices within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and to meet production deadlines.
  • Liaise with shift manager and production manager on any issues or management support requirements
Hours and Pay
  • Up to £33,000/hour DOE
  • Three rotating shifts (every two weeks) Mon- Fri 7am to 3pm / 3pm to 11pm / 11pm to 7am
  • Additional 10% premium for night shift
