Job Description

Field Service Manager (Anaerobic Digestion)England North (Mobile Role)£50,000 plus vehicle, healthcare AD Energy are working with a leader in anaerobic digestion plant optimisation. They have a new requirement for a permanent member of staff to join the business as a Field Service. The business offers national support to AD plants and waste water treatment plants. Anaerobic Digestion / Biogas experience is essential for this position and all applicants must hold this expereince to be considered.Roles & ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Anaerobic Digestion Business Manager, as the Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • On site engineering on anaerobic digestion plants, including mechanical and electrical project work, CHPs, motors, gearboxes, augers, pipework and more
  • Taking a work pack and remit from the office, ensuring all planned and reactive jobs are completed on time
  • Having overall responsibility for the field-based team and completing associated job paperwork
  • Take accountability over HSE, EA and regulatory bodies, ensuring relevant procedures are adhered to, completing works safety and professionally
  • Weekly and monthly reports of where specific service contracts and jobs are in their lifecycle
  • Delivering excellent customer service and be client facing on site when required
  • Managing the overall quality of the work being undertaken
  • Assist with project scoping, planning and resourcing
    • Skills & Qualifications
  • A higher education qualification in an engineering discipline (HNC/HND/NVQ3), preferably mechanical
  • Demonstrable experience in the anaerobic digestion / biogas sector
  • Excellent leadership and man-management skills
  • Someone with a cracking drive to get the job done
  • Someone who will accountable for their team and take responsibility
