Job Description

My client is currently recruiting for and experienced Export Customer Service Specialist to join their team.The Export Customer Service role is initially a 9 month contract. Monday to Friday £25,000 - £26500 paThe ideal candidate for this role will need to have previous experience working of Export order and a good understanding of HMRC Export and Compliance.The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all Export orders are delivered seamlessly whilst providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer export orders promptly and accurately, keeping customers informed of expected delivery dates.
  • Liaising with 3PL and Freight Forwarders to ensure shipments to all export customers have the correct customs and import documentation. Resolve any delayed or held orders.
  • Ensure audit and HMRC export compliance, regulatory and customs requirements are met when raising certification and orders to be exported outside of the UK.
  • Build knowledge and keep up to date with new legal specifications to export products under HMRC guidelines.
  • Ensure effective financial governance is maintained in line with audit and legal requirements.
  • Achieve, maintain, and improve team and Customer KPIs.
Key Skills:
  • Previous experience of Export order processing essential.
  • Understanding of HMRC Export and compliance processes essential.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Computer literate - Ability to build spread sheets and navigating Business to Business websites.
  • Customer Service best practice.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain functions essential.
  • Delivering to targets.
  • Ability to manage, interpret and summarise large amounts of data.
