Rated by Ofsted as Outstanding, and Excellent by apprenticeship employers, this is a fantastic opportunity for those with experienceworking within Employability.The Employability Skills Tutor will be based within the Cambridge and Peterborough area, supporting learners into the workplace. Successful candidateswill demonstrate a positive, engaging personality in order to deliver inspiring training sessions to learners. Salary up to £35000 Hybrid Working 25 Days + Bank Holidays Option for Flexible Working Internal Health and Wellbeing TeamKey Duties and Responsibilities for the Employability Tutor Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups in a classroom setting across a range of subject areas such as CV Writing, Job Searching Skills, Interview Skills and Work Behaviours. Actively support, mentor, and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Some of the contacts will be online and will include delivery sessions through Microsoft Teams andVirtual Learning platforms. Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential. Assess learners needs and set robust plans and targets to meet their needs on an individual basis. Provide both academic and pastoral support to students, working with them to raise their ambition and aspiration, ensuring they realise their full potential. Manage individual learner targets Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.Experience and Qualifications Required for the Employability Tutor Recognised Teaching Award at level or above such as Cert Ed, PTTLS Vocational experience working within Employability. Ability to demonstrate occupational competence, and delivery of both 1 to 1 and group sessions. Experience in using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Skype is highly desirable.
