Job Description

Position: ElectricianSalary: £35,000 - £40,000Location: Peterborough, CambridgeshireMonday – FridayPermanent PositionCompany VanThe Role:

  • Undertake commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Be competent in the installation of SWA and PVC singles
  • Be competent in the installation of tray and basket work
  • Complete testing and inspection of works where required
  • Liaise with customer personnel to maintain good working relationship
  • Maintain a high quality of workmanship to company standard
  • Keep the department manager up to date on a regular basis of the projects progress and report any problem areas
The Candidate:
  • Full driving license held for 12 months
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience post-apprenticeship
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • An understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  • Be able to work on your own, or as part of a team
  • Be able to present yourself in a manner that represents the company
  • Be willing to travel and stay away from time to time
  • Network infrastructure experience – desirable, but not essential
  • Hold a testing and verification qualification – desirable, but not essential
