Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor - Peterborough - Permanent - Commercial and Retail projectsA well-established M&E contractor that has been trading for over 40 years in the East Anglia region are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to be based in their Peterborough office.As the Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor you will be supporting the electrical department working across a variety of sectors including education, police stations, retail, industrial, commercial, care homes and social housing. You willliaise with clients and department managers about projects and standards of work regarding directly employed staff and sub-contractors.The Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor acts as one of the accredited and nominated persons to represent the company to ensure the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates and reports andto British NICEIC standards.As the Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will be required to: Ensure all Electricians either directly employed or sub-contractors are working to a high standard and to set regulations. Inspection of work and reporting findings back to Compliance Manager and Line Manager. Educate the electrical team with regulation updates, toolbox talks and best practices. Working alongside Compliance Manager with supervising and training of site team. Supporting Compliance Manager with yearly NICEIC Inspection. Responsible for the quality control and approval of test sheets and all aspects associated with NICEIC.Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience: 18th Edition, IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671 C&G 2391 or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Electrical including AM2 or equivalent An extensive understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations, current edition of BS 7671 and the Codes of Practice and guidance documents relevant to the range of electrical work undertaken Understand the Inspection, testing, verification, certification and reporting procedures for the range of electrical work undertaken Knowledge of all electrical systems in domestic, commercial and industrial settings Proven experience of undertaking quality control inspections Understanding the contract design and construction drawings.This position offers a fantastic career path for the right candidate, for more information about this role or keen on a new Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Qualifying Supervisor opportunity within the Building Services sector (Electrical Foreman, ElectricalSupervisor, Electrical QS, Electrical Qualifying Supervisor), please contact Adam Brown on or or
