Job Description

Dispatch SupervisorPhotocentric Ltd is an award-winning manufacturer based in Peterborough and the USA. We are innovators of 3d printers, resin and worldwide leaders of craft stamp manufacturing, making patented and award-winning products. We are lookingfor an experienced Dispatch Supervisor who is highly motivated, good at IT systems with knowledge of dispatching goods to the UK and Internationally.Key Responsibilities for the Dispatch Supervisor will include:

  • Managingthe dispatch for the business ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency
  • Working closely with the sales and shipping teams to schedule orders and manage capacity
  • Assisting with picking orders using an electronic device
  • Assisting when required to pack and wrap products ready for shipping
  • Dealing with necessary shipping and export documentation
  • Updating internal IT system
  • Labelling packages for export and using FL to move stock (training will be given)
  • Ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide variety of products
  • Maintaining adherence to the dispatch schedule. Communicates any changes to the relevant teams
  • Conducting quality control checks
  • Completing stock checks for consumable items and placing orders to replenish stocks
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications of our Dispatch Supervisor:
  • Experience in dispatch or warehouse duties
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Experience of working on WMS or ERP systems
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • The ability to maintain and follow written instructions and work to SOPs
  • The ability to amend and update SOPs
  • Geographic understanding of worldwide locations
  • The ability to work on own initiative and plan work tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines, some manual lifting will be required
  • Counterbalance FLT experience preferred but training will be given
  • Familiarity with international shipping and hazardous goods documentation (training will be given)
