Job Description

Are you an experience Design Draughtsman with extensive SolidWorks experienceThen look no further....We have super opportunity to join one of our fabulous clients based in Peterborough. This will be a office based role. Our client is seeking an experienced Design Draughtsman to join them on a full time permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week Mondayto Friday owing to growth in the business.ResponsibilitiesAs Design Draughtsman, working with the design team, you will:-

  • Undertake detailed draughting and design work across various product ranges working to deadlines and project timelines.
  • Create parts models using Solidworks generating quality drawings to enable production.
  • Create BOMs & line demands using MRP system.
  • Client liaison to ensure specifications are met and to customer satisfaction.
Skills requiredTo be considered for the role of Design Draughtsman, you will have:
  • Extensive SolidWorks knowledge and practical experience
  • Experience of drawing structural baseplates and piping systems
  • Experience of surface modelling
  • Strong understanding of BOM structures
  • Previous extensive Design Draughtsman / Design Engineer experience.
  • HNC / HND in Engineering or similar.
