Job Description

Opus People Solutions are seeking Covid-19 test site operatives in Peterborough to be responsible for supporting the Covid-19 test unit through a range of duties on a rota basis including offering reassurance to the public, meeting and greeting of those to the site, recording of their details and cleaning of the site.This is a customer facing role and the safety of the workforce and customers is the foremost priority for all Covid-19 testing operations; full PPE and strict infection control measures will be employed to always ensure a safe working environment.Full training will be provided via a training/induction day prior to startingTest Site Operatives will be expected to:

  • Greet arrivals and provide reassurance.
  • Ensure social distancing and other government guidelines are observed, sanitising of hand and wearing of face mask as appropriate.
  • Direct the people to available testing stations and exits.
  • Communicate with the public through the arrival and testing process, providing reassurance as appropriate.
  • Ensure safe clinical measures including social distancing and donning and removing of PPE, of all times.
  • Ensure understanding of core end-to-end testing experience and support wider site operations as and when requested
    • What you will need to bring to the role:
  • Understanding of the need to always maintain confidentiality.
  • Full understanding of how SMART mobile phone devices and other digital equipment and systems work used by the centre staff Able to converse with ease with members of the public/build trust and rapport in short space of time.
  • Provide effective help or advice in accurate and fluent spoken English.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Must be able to work in a methodical manner, recording and inputting data whilst working in a mobile site accurately.
  • Ability to follow the strict guidelines and procedures required at all times.
  • Comfortable working in PPE.
