Job Description

There has never been a more important time to provide high quality, specialist end-of-life care to support patients and their families.We are looking for a Clinical Team Lead to work in a specialist palliative care inpatient unit in Peterborough. You will provide care and support for people who are living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families.About the RoleYou will manage a team of Registered nurses and Healthcare assistants ensuring the effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of high standards of holistic care for an identified group of service users.Responsible to ensure effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with the companies policies and proceduresA salary ranging from £36,780 to £41,699.Shift PatternThis role is predominantly day shifts with occasional nights and some weekends, it is a full time position.Requirements for this role

    • Current NMC registration.
    • Ensure effective performance management of all clinical staff in line with company policies and procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal and discipline.
    • Need to demonstrate a holistic approach to patient care, knowledge of palliative care, management experience and contribute to the development of services.
    • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
    • Experience of people management / managing a team.
    • We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organization(WHO) Workforce Support and Safeguard List
