Battery Research ScientistsPhotocentric Ltd based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Phoenix, USA is an award-winning innovator in 3D printing and a specialist chemical manufacturer of a wide variety of photopolymers that can harden in invisible light curing technologies.We manufacture our own 3D printers and resins in Peterborough and export all over the world. Our innovative company is growing rapidly and we now have an exciting opportunity for a Battery Scientist with electrochemical experience to work on one of our coreresearch projects3d printing of batteries.We are seeking talented Battery Research Scientists with electrochemical experience to work on this project which focuses on the design of a 3-dimensional battery cells with improved performance, the development of suitable 3d printing materialsfor this application and the validation of the 3d printed battery cells in a real application.We have a core business based on being innovative in photopolymers, for we received the Queens Award for Innovation. We have applied our innovations to craft and office stamps, flexographic printing and 3D printing. We commercialized the first 3D printerbased on an LCD screen and manufacture the Liquid Crystal range of 3D printers. We have invented the concept of custom mass manufacturing using 3d printing and have manufactured millions of PPE items for the NHS during the Covid19 crisis.Key Responsibilities of our Battery Research Scientistsinclude:
