Audit Manager - Top 20 National FirmFull TimeUp to £65,000AJ Chambers are proud to be working with a leading National firm of Chartered accounts who sit in the top 20 firms in the accountancy sector, who are looking for an Audit Manager to join their successful and growing Peterborough team.They provide advice to some of the UKs wealthiest individuals and most successful companies.   • Day to day management of the Corporate Services Group: training, mentoring and developing team members
  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients, involves communicating engagement progress, problems, financial information and other business concerns
  • Participating in networking and building client relationships
  • Reviewing assignments and working papers, providing constructive feedback to team members
  • Taking responsibility for achieving engagement profitability - billings and collections
  • Supporting the partners with business development activities, client tender processes
  • Supporting team members and clients, at times across multiple offices, in a role that has a requirement for flexible working hours including additional hours when required
Benefits
  • 35-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pm and an agile working policy to facilitate homeworking, only 2 days per week required in the office.
  • Paid overtime or time off in lieu of any overtime worked
  • Working from home allowance of £25 a month
  • Eligibility for the firms Profit-Sharing Plan that runs from October to September each year. The scheme enables staff to share in the profits of the firm. Payment is usually c£1,000 for the full year. Paid in December.
  • Salary reviews annually in October.
  • 25 annual leave with an additional day added after each years service.
  • In addition, under the flexible benefits programme, employees are entitled to buy or sell up to five days (35 hours) holiday a year, subject to staff partner approval.
  • Life assurance cover of four times salary
  • Private Medical - Staff have access to a private medical scheme through the flexible benefits programme.
