Area Sales Manager - Precast Flooring Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Precast FlooringIndustry Sector: Precast Concrete Products, Concrete, Precast Flooring, Concrete Flooring, Precast Flooring, Beam and Block Flooring Systems, Beams, Blocks, Precast Products, Groundworkers, Groundwork Contractor, Civil Groundworkers, Main Contractors, Civil Contractors, Sub Contractors, Housebuilders, National Housebuilder, Housebuilders, Residential Market, Residential Flooring, Specifications, Housebuilder SpecificationsAreas to be covered: National (defined area will be determined by living location)Ideally based: MidlandsRemuneration: £35,000- £40,000 (depending on experience) + 20% bonus Benefits: company car and full benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Precast Flooring will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of high quality precast insulated flooring products into the national house build & residential market sector
  • All of your time will be spent selling to (and protecting / closing specifications with) national house builders and civil ground workers such as: Barratt’s, Lovell Homes and David Wilson
  • Dealing with order values ranging from £10-£200k plus
  • Adding to a sales team turnover or circa £8m, looking to rapidly grow in the coming years
  • 70:30 split of time spent generating new business and managing and expanding existing relationships
  • Working closely with line Sales Manager
  • Will be required to use a newly introduced CRM system
  • Will be required to support with on and off site training
  • Area to be covered will be determined by where you live
    • The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager - Precast Flooring with:
  • Must have construction field sales experience selling / gaining specification with National House builders such as: David Wilson, Barratt’s, Lovell Homes, Redrow, Bellway and Taylor Wimpey
  • Ideally come from a concrete related product background for example beam and blocks, precast insulated flooring, retaining walls, concrete blocks, precast concrete, concrete drainage
  • Would consider people from any product background if you have experience selling to housebuilders or groundworkers (for example drainage and membranes)
  • Ideally hold a CSCS card (not essential)
  • Demonstrable track record of sales success and achieving targets
  • Capable of working autonomously and work to deadlines
  • Driven, ambitious, self motivated and a genuine passion for sales
