Job Description

Robert Half are pleased to partner with a global business to recruit their next Reporting Accountant. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has solid bookkeeping, accountant experience and wants to extend their experience into corporate reporting.The opportunity is Hybrid at the office based in Peterborough.Job DescriptionThis will be a full time role working as part of the Corporate Reporting team, with responsibilities relating both internal corporate reporting and shared services for a number of entitiesRole ResponsibilitiesShared Service Accounting

  • AP, AR, GL, Bank reconciliations
  • Day-to-day Standardized Transactions:
  • VAT, calculation, reconciliation, submission
  • Month end journals, Fixed assets, depreciation, prepayments, accruals, FX Revaluations.
  • Monthly reporting
  • Work with commercial managers to prepare annual budgets
  • Respond to entities annual audit with the support from the regional accounting manager
Corporate Reporting Assistance:
  • Prepare reporting and financial analysis;
  • Review GL account reconciliation
  • Other AD Hoc tasks as required
Desired Experience
  • Part qualified or newly qualified ACCA or CIMA
  • Solid Accounting knowledge, Debits/ Credits
  • Good communication skill and be able to establish good relationships with the local business teams (local and international)
  • Good excel skills and overall systems knowledge and specific knowledge of AX Dynamics or D365 is advance
  • Work accurately with a high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • French, Dutch or Spanish speaking is advantage but not essential
