Job Description

Graphic Designer/ArtworkerWe are working with a local Professional supplier who are looking for an enthusiastic Graphic Designer/Artworker with a can-do attitude, to work within their main offices just outside of Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mid-weight Graphic Designer/Artworker that Is looking to get hands-on experiencein a booming and supportive workplace.As a Graphic Designer/Artworker, you will be excepted to:

  • Creating artwork for a variety of communications material including commercial programme activity, branding, online, social, and digital marketing projects
  • Develop concepts, identities and visual styles that fit specific target audiences
  • Ensure that all artwork is delivered according to brand and corporate guidelines
  • Adapting artwork based on feedback from internal stakeholders
  • Creating digital and print ready artwork for use internally and externally
  • Preparing catalogue layouts, formatting text to style sheets and preparing files for printers
  • Deliver high quality output across company websites including header, banner and page design and build
You will be joining a small sized team on a permanent basis working within their Birmingham office.Ideal candidate:
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CMS and Microsoft Office applications
  • Motion graphics and video experience would be highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of preparing design for web
  • Must show creative flair, be well organised, self-motivated, keen, have a meticulous attention to detail coupled with a professional and collaborative demeanour.
  • Thorough knowledge of reprographics and print-preparation
  • Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise a large workload according to ever changing business needs//
