We try to make working for BCA rewarding in every sense, including a positive work environment, training and development opportunitiesas well as exciting career options.As a company we are very charity focused with regular events taking place throughout the year to support various charitable organisations.Main Purpose of Job:The purpose of this role is to offer our buyers the highest levels of customer service, along with growing the BCA Buyer base through cross selling BCA products and services that will bring value to these customers.Maintain and develop high volume account holders by fulfilling an account management role for a set number of buyers. The role requires handing of the provisional process and to win-back lapsed BCA Buyers along with ensuring timely payment is received. Thiscould be a mixture of home /field / branch based.Key Responsibilities

  • To predominantly support Black and Platinum status buyers with making their BCA interactions as smooth as possible including but not limited to making their purchasing journey / deliveries / collections
  • Promote BCA online and physical sales channels, supporting BCA Auctions, Vendor programmes and online services
  • Create, build and maintain successful working relationships with Auction Centres / Customer Services and all other BCA businesses.
  • Support provisional negotiating to maximise sold performance, focusing on conversion targets and liaising between both vendor and buyer across all UK locations
  • Gain customer insight from Buyers to help make recommendations that can improve marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Educate buyers with how to use our Online services including Live Online bidding, buyer App, searching for stock and utilising self-collection portals.
  • Make appointments, both physical and online meetings to manage a diary and act as an account management for all buyers needs
  • Maintain a relationship with the National Accounts team and participating auction centres, keeping them updated with buyer contact activities and requirements.
  • Increase BCA share of wallet (SOW) across a Buyer portfolio to promote BCA as the primary source of vehicles for their business.
  • Partake in various buyer campaigns including Dormant Buyers, Sales of interest etc.
  • Demonstrate BCAs products and services including (but not limited to) Partner Finance, Part Exchange opportunity, AutosOnShow, Buy Now/Bid Now, DealerPro, Cinch.
  • Ensure the appropriate BCA loyalty card is in place and encourage greater share of purchasing wallet.
  • Take responsibility to ensure outstanding auction and sundry debts are settled in a timely fashion indicated by their card status.
  • Introduce new buyers to BCA and win back lapsed buyers
  • Attend training courses to improve product knowledge and self-development, as well as site visits to understand all areas of the business.
  • Attend industry events when required.
Employee Profile
