Job Description

STEM Recruitment Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Operations Leadto join their client based just south of Edinburgh.This is a full-time, permanent position providing great opportunities for progression for those looking to further develop their career within SCM / planning / procurement.Role and responsibilities:

  • Leading development and execution of sourcing strategies to deliver competitive advantage
  • Supplier relationship management - selection, development, and consolidation
  • Supplier scorecard performance and monitoring overall performance
  • Coordinating all routine forecasting requirements for Supply Chain department
  • Work with approved planners/buyers and suppliers, ensuring requirements are captured, and that materials are bought at most competitive price and delivered on time
  • Responsible for maintaining Quality Management, Compliance and GMP systems throughout business
Skills required:
  • Experience in a similar role and proven results in purchasing/sourcing roles
  • Previous experience in Life Sciences or Biological materials sourcing advantageous
  • Strong Supplier Relationship Management background and excellent interpersonal and negotiations skills
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems
  • IT/Data Management background desirable
