Job Description

We are delighted to bring to market a new permanent role located in Midlothian working for our client who are an established brand in the heart of the local community.Part of a small, hands on finance team we are delighted to be sourcing to hire a full time Finance Coordinator to join them.The Offer

  • 35 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 5pm & 8.30am until 2.30pm on a Friday
  • £21,260 starting salary

What will the role involve
  • Reporting directly into the Finance Manager and being responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Assisting with the expenditure
  • Preparing schedules, data analysis and journals
  • Logging invoices
  • Monthly closing of the ledger
  • Processing bank and online payments
  • Processing sick pay
  • Assist the auditors
  • Prepare data presenting and analysis
What do we require
  • HNC in Accounts or relevant experience in the above role
  • Excellent communicator and be able to deal with people over the telephone, via email and face to face
  • Team player
  • Super organised
  • Competent in Excel and have had exposure in working on Accounting software
