Job Description

The Opportunity;Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with a fast growing consultancy business based in the North East, who are looking to hire a HR Manager.An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly experienced leadership team, support in a number of exciting people initiatives and lead the day to day running of the HR function. Key elements of the role include;

  • Working as a trusted partner to the leadership team and supporting all people related activities, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Developing a robust recruitment strategy to attract high quality talent for key roles, enhancing the employer brand and ensuring colleagues are trained on effective interviewing techniques.
  • Developing a great induction programme to support the onboarding process and improve retention rates.
  • Implementing and embedding an effective performance management process, ensuring consistency across the business.
  • Leadership of the HR team including Recruitment Advisors and an HR Advisor.
  • Oversee all group learning and development activities, working with an outsourced training provider to drive management and leadership skills.
  • Overseeing all HR administration activities, ensuring high standards and excellent levels of customer service.
  • Providing regular HR data and insights for the leadership team to support business decision making.
Package:
  • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working
The Person;The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is commercially minded, highly people focused and will enjoy learning about the business.Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following;
  • Strong generalist HR experience encompassing all areas of HR from employee relations through to recruitment and retention strategies
  • Good track record in developing recruitment and attraction strategies
  • Enjoys building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience of working with operational and professional colleagues, ideally in a multi siteenvironment.
  • Team management experience
