CHEC out our Clinical Optometrist opportunity in Stoke on TrentPart time, two days a weekCommunity Health and Eyecare (CHEC) have worked in partnership with thousands of optometrists to deliver our shared care partnership model.We are now the largest provider of community-based ophthalmology services in the UK. Our bespoke state of the art Cataract and Surgical Centres are a beacon of envy, where we are contracted to deliver cataracts, YAG laser and wAMD services across the UK, providing end-to-end care for every eye condition whilst continuing to support the NHS nationwide with our services.This role would suit an Optometrist who has 12 months post-registration experience and hold current GOC registration wanting to expand their horizons and take the leap into the clinical side of optometry. We will support your professional development and you can undertake YAG Laser with full training provided. You will provide independent eye care and make assessments on the need for cataract surgery ensuring patients understand the risks and benefits and providing reassurance throughout.Delivering over 200,000 outpatient appointments per year.
