Job Description

We are recruiting for an exciting role for a Studio Technician which will involve converting client artworks for printing.Hours are Monday - Friday 8.30-5pm and will be office based due to the nature of the work.• Prepare artwork utilising software packages in studio; Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Workflow Management and ERP (Shuttleworth).• An understanding of technical drawings, site surveys and conversion to bill of manufacture.• Restoring artwork from archives and making available for CAD and Digital Departments.• Creating and processing job sheets via ERP System (Shuttleworth).• Prioritizing new and repeat work, releasing to production following agreed production planning.• Calculating material usage / requirement.• Maintain and update computerised records.• Ensure efficient use of equipment, raw materials and Studio consumables.• Occasional offsite visits for meetings with clients and site surveys for projectsAll though not all items are absolute requirements and provision for training will be provided, as wide a knowledge base as possible in the following is an advantage.• Adobe Suite.• Office 365.• ERP (Shuttleworth).• CAD Software Packages.• IT proficiency.• Colour Management.• Javascript / Applescript.• Workflow Automation.We are looking for someone with attention to detail and retention of information. Excellent organisation skills, prioritisation and information management.
