Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Paisley, Renfrewshire, PA3 4HPSalary: £25,000.00-£39,520.00 per year, DOEContract: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week + Overtime availableWhat’s on offer• 30 days holiday per year including statutory.• Work wear provided.• Workplace pension.About UsC&D Grant Motor Engineers have become a successful garage, providing the full range of services including diagnostics and repairs, MOTs, servicing and maintenance on all makes and models of cars and commercial vehicles, including electric and hybrid cars.We also provide a breakdown and recovery service, and a vehicle collection and delivery service.Vehicle Technician - The RoleWe are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our team!The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing basic diagnostic tests on vehicles, performing engine, transmission and brake service, as well as replacing parts. The successful candidate will also have the tools and skills necessary to perform serviceson a variety of vehicles including modern and will be working in a friendly, positive environment with colleagues who share their values.The working week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday and every second Saturday. Enhanced rate is paid for Saturday working and any additional overtime.Responsibilities;• To carry out diagnostics, repair, maintenance and MOT preparation.• To work with a variety of vehicles including cars, light/heavy vans and commercial vehicles including Hybrid and Electric.• To confidently diagnose and repair motor vehicles of all makes and models.Vehicle Technician - Skills & ExperienceWhat you will need to successful in this role;• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds or equivalent• Full UK Clean Driving License• Have your own tools• Positive approach/working attitude• Good time keeping• Diagnostic understanding and experience• Ability to work well in a team• Good house keepingIf you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on apply forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.No agencies please.
