Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit 4 x Junior Desktop Analysts for initial 6 month contracts on a rate of £115/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances these roles will be remote based for the foreseeable future.Responsibilities:- Support the build, delivery and installation of IT hardware (Desktop PCs) in sites across the organisation as part of a Windows 10 Desktop Refresh Project.- These installations will range from single devices to individual areas/departments to larger volumes as part of project related deployment.Essential Skills:- Have either relevant technical education of qualification or at least 2 years of IT experience within specialist area.- Degree/HND in IT or associated discipline with at least 2 years experience in Desktop support role, field or call centre based, project or service support or Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certified training in Microsoft Desktop operating systems, or Microsoft applications or HP/Dell/Lexmark hardware certification- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to liaise effectively with Senior Internal NHS Managers and Senior External Managers is essential- Full clean driving licence and access to transportDesirable Skills:- Knowledge of O365 would also be advantageous.- Qualified in ITIL IT Service Management- Exposure to public sector Desktop services- Additional HP/Dell/Lexmark(other vendor) hardware training /certificationIf you would like to hear more about these opportunities please get in touch.
