Job Description

Supporting colleagues on the Helpdesk, providing 1st Line IT Support to Clients.Client DetailsMy Client is a busy MSP business that provides excellent Customer Service and IT Support to businesses across Scotland.Description

  • You will supervise the support / operations team who provide technical support for SMEs. This means you must have knowledge for the following; office 365, pc and apple hardware and software support.
  • The successful candidate must have a good core knowledge of basic IT and Networking skills.
  • You will possess confident communication skills as the role will involve dealing with a variety of customer support calls where the supported devices are diverse and varied.
  • Responsible for all incoming support calls to main office.
  • Provide remote and telephone support for client networks and applications
Profile
  • Good Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems,
  • Computer network setup experience.
  • Ideally windows server builds and setup experience.
  • Be able to deal with Customer enquiries as and when customers call in for support.
  • Experience in network security diagnostics.
  • Able to install, configure, upgrade and relocate PC hardware, software and print devices.
  • Experience of Windows 7, 8, 10, Office 2003 -2016
  • Problem solving.
  • Experience of PC hardware troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 -2016 technologies and Active Directory experience advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience an advantage.
  • Experience with Exchange Server and mobile email technologies.
  • Experience with VoIP and telephony would be advantageous as this will help start a new side to the business.
