Job Description

FinancePaisley CampusAccounts Payable Assistant - REQ000038Fixed term - 12 monthsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the Finance Department at the University of the West of Scotland.Working as part of the wider Finance team, you will play a vital role in the accurate and timely processing of high-volume data along with other general administrative duties.You will provide support and guidance to departments across the University, as well as to suppliers and customers regarding all aspects of transactional processing. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective organisationalskills and the ability to plan under your own initiative.The successful candidate should have the following:

  • 3 standard grades/National 5s or equivalent, SVQ level 2 or an NC or equivalent
  • Experience of high-volume data processing within a finance office
