Job Description

· Service Desk Support- £28,000 - £35,000 per annum- 6 month contract potentially leading to perm- Role based in LondonWorking for an awesome global tech company based in Paddington London we are looking for someone to join as a Service Desk Analyst. This is an initial 6 month contract and has a strong potential to convert to permanent. We are looking for someone with 1st and 2nd line support experience, ideally within a fast-paced tech company and experience working with Apple Mac. As well as 1st and 2nd line support you will also be looking after IT Asset Management. With such a strong focus on remote working we are looking for someone to ensure all IT Assets are correctly maintained in the Asset Management System and remote workers are fully supported. As you will be dealing with the inventory of hardware there will be a requirement for you to sometimes come into the Paddington Offices so you need to be within commutable distance of London. Duties will include:-- 1st and 2nd line IT Support – this can be via telephone, email and face to face when in the office – the main focus of this role is your Customer Service; be kind and be helpful when dealing with employees that aren’t as tech smart as you and it’s always, always service with a smile- You will help with setting up hardware for new starters ensuring the right applications and access has been installed on their equipment- Fulfill computer and accessories requests for new remote starters- Ship and track new equipment being sent out- Update tracking documents and Asset Management System- On returned hardware you will ensure this is logged and checked for damage or failed hardware- Prepare decommissioned equipment for disposalSkills and experience required:-- It is essential you have previous 1st, 2nd line support experience- It is essential you have experience of supporting Apple Mac- Knowledge of ServiceNow, SAP, Absolute, JAMF will be an advantage- Previous experience within a tech organisation will be a big advantage- Previous experience within IT Asset Management a big advantage- Most importantly; your customer service skills, how you work with people and communicate with them is absolutely key for this role
