Job Description

Immediate Start£400-£500per day (inside IR35)Agora Talent are partnering with a multinational retail business to on-board an Interim Senior FP&A Manager for an initial period of 4 months. This person will be delivering the incumbents role until a new starter joins the business mid-year.This is a great opportunity for an experienced FP&A Manager to come in and deliver in an exciting and ever-changing retail business and adding value where they see fit.Please see below on what will be expected day to day.

  • Deliver accurate budgets and rolling forecasts for the product cost base, supporting the delivery of operating profit targets.
  • Work in partnership with the Senior Finance Manager and Head of Finance in the cost teams to understand the complexities, risks and opportunities to allow best practice.
  • Understand and explain the drivers of working capital.
  • Working closely with commercial teams on inventory and shared services on payables & receivables.
  • Work Across the wider teams to deliver on stock related period close and engage with Finance Business Partners in the cost base areas.
  • Tracking and reporting of cost saving targets and challenge new areas of potential savings.
  • Understand the drivers of the cost base and forecast the impact on a short and long term basis.
    • The ideal candidate:
  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Solid Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with an inquisitive mindset to challenge what is already in place.
  • Comfortable with Manipulating data to provide forward thinking reporting.
  • Ability to adapt and enhance controls to implement change along the way.
