Job Description

We champion a workplace where employees feel they can be themselves and have the flexibility they need to meet their personal needs.The RoleWe are now recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our established and highly experienced team and are looking to speak to subject matter experts who can lead and support business as usual (BAU) and IT project activities for the organisation.Our HQ in West London is home to the IT Services hub that serves to support all aspects of our business. The IT function, which is critical to our entire operation, delivers on a range of technologies, innovation and capabilities, providing a seamless service to multiple service users across the region.Key Skills and Experience

  • Experienced Microsoft 365 engineer who has transformed on-premise to cloud Exchange environments and/or Tenant migrations.
  • Worked with infrastructure hosting and service providers to design and implement new solutions.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot problems and outages, schedule upgrades and provide continual improvement to your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure compliancy is maintained, including regular control procedures completed for M365, and periodically participate in client audits.
  • Create and maintain scripts to automate administrative procedures.
  • Enforce company policies and undertake approved eDiscovery requests (DLP, Email searches, SARs, etc.).
  • Regularly report on the environment operational status and assist with 3rd party reviews/audits.
  • Ensure all platforms are maintained to a supportable stable version.
  • Mentor junior M365 and Azure administrators.
    • Requirements
  • Understanding of the challenges of supporting a large 24/7 operation.
  • Expert in all Microsoft 365 Admin Centres.
  • In depth knowledge of AD/SSO and deployment of services in Azure.
  • Mimecast expert or equivalent Email cloud security solution.
  • Sound knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Scripting experience - PowerShell, Ansible, etc.
  • Knowledge of core Infrastructure services and functions (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving ability ranging from conceptualisation to implementation.
  • Experience of delivering infrastructure changes within a fast paced, high frequency change environment.
  • Security-focused approach.
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certified and significant experience in ITIL aligned environments.
  • Excellent communications skills (articulate and polite).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a calm manner and an ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, independently and meet deadlines.
