Job title: EMIS Configuration AnalystResponsible to: EMIS Project ManagerPay £320 a day Location - RemoteContract posititon - 3 month contract with the view to be extended Job Purpose The EMIS configuration analyst will be responsible for EMIS configuration that has been requested by one of our clients through the EMIS project. The scope of the role will include working with the Transformation Lead and EMIS configuration Lead to gatherand analyse requirements, estimating effort, implementation of configuration changes in EMIS, documenting changes and undertaking early life support.The role requires excellent clinical systems (EMIS) configuration skills. It involves working with the EMIS Configuration Lead and Transformation Lead to define requirements plan, and undertake implementation of EMIS configuration. Main Duties Gather requirements and undertake business analysis to define the clinical system (EMIS) configuration changes that are required to deliver change projects.Document requirements and business analysis, providing effort estimates that the project manager can use to define costs and timescales.Implement clinical EMIS configuration as agreed with the EMIS configuration lead and EMIS transformation lead.Produce documentation and undertake early life support as required KEY Responsibilities Acting as a trusted advisor, influence the customer to ensure that requirements and solutions are fit for purpose.Identify project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and report these to the project manager.Take ownership of delivery of project work on time and on budget. When necessary escalate issues impacting timescale or cost to the project manager. ESSENTIAL Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experienceExtensive hands-on experience configuring EMIS clinical application.Good communication and customer-facing skills.Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team. Good attention to detail.Able to produce clear and concise documentation DESIREBALE Trained in EMIS by EMIS HealthExtensive experience working within the NHS, ideally within a community setting.Experience of working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders
