Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join a leading, well-established, independent Publishing and Events company based on the border of South-East London.The role will be to manage one of their exciting B2B brands and to lead the marketing for this brand including the events, print and digital magazine, webinars and online profile, podcasts and videos.Responsibilities for the Marketing Manager Role:

  • Develop and implement a multi-channel digital and offline marketing strategy across the product suite to promote the brand
  • Full management of client/ product marketing function, including digital and lead generation acquisition for the brand
  • Act as brand champion, ensuring adoption of best practice, cross-promotion and knowledge of the industry over time
  • Track industry and marketing developments
  • Reporting findings to all stakeholders
  • Manage and keep track of the agreed spend for this marketing brand
Skills and experience required for the Marketing Manager Role:
  • 2 years experience at Marketing Manager level or equivalent within B2B media or similar environment
  • Proven track record of success with demonstrable metrics for growing brand reach, delivering successful campaigns and achieving key objectives such as revenue targets in a commercial environment
  • People management
  • To have an understanding and working knowledge of legislation including GDPR and advertising best practice
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to tight deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft packages, Digital Systems such as CRM, online marketing tools and social media
