Job Description

REED Public Sector are currently recruiting fortechnical support officers on behalf of our local Public sector ClientProvide technical support on a day-to-day basis to the Recycling & Waste Operations Team ensuring high quality safe waste and recycling collections

  • Manage the operations correspondence including the phone, emails and other requests
  • Liaise with customers, supervisors and crew members to deal with any issues and requests for service
  • Lead on investigating service complaints to resolve issues
  • Support the operational supervisors co-ordinating the frontline crews daily to ensure all work is completed to required service standards
  • Accurately record information related to safety, accidents, incidents and near misses and provide reports to identify trends and outstanding actions as well as producing monthly stats for the waste management team ODS Safety Team
  • Ensure that all monthly timesheets and annual leave request are accurately processed and recorded
  • Manage and control PPE issue for the waste service
  • Accurately record and manage waste operations training and development requirements working with the Learning & Development department and operational supervisors
  • Monitor and track work progress through the day and report to operational supervisors
  • Maintain daily vehicle check documentation and monitor fleet usage
