Full-time (37 hours per week)Energy Systems Leadcontract to start ASAP.Monday to Friday09:00-17:00What is the Job In partnership, delivering a local area energy planning approach in the county at a County scale and neighbourhood scales Further developing the council’s energy insights data approach with our commercial partner Using a local area energy planning approach to identify investment requirements to be integrated into local strategic plans. Working with partners to deliver and input into the range of funding bids that follow the county’s Local Energy Oxfordshire project Providing expert technical advice across Environment and Place and the Future Oxfordshire Partnership in relation to utility supply barriers and opportunities mainly at a place scale Supporting and enabling colleagues across the councils and in Oxfordshire to identify and manage strategic risks linked to clean energy and energy supply including providing specialist advice, training and support. Bidding for, and playing a role in the delivery of, funding to support either infrastructure investment or addressing the barriers to a clean, fair and smart energy supply in Oxfordshire. Provide expert advice in responding to consultations and communicating impact of legislation particularly in relation to utilities Work with Staff, Members, Partners and Suppliers to ensure the delivery of required outcomes, in a consistent way, using the right skills and the most appropriate delivery methods. Support our Organisation, People and Partners to look forward, using analysis and evidence to inform plans, manage risks appropriately and apply insight to ensure the delivery of effective services for our local people.What are the requirements
