Job Description

SUPPORT WORKER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT (physical disabilities) Full time role in private household, inc overnights and trips away Ditch the 9-5 for a job with a difference that makes a difference.We are looking for another exceptional person to join our amazing, well established team who provide the support needed by a young adult female to live her life to the full in spite of complex physical disabilities. In this varied, interesting and unusual role you will be supporting someone in their own well-equipped home with all aspects of their life, including:

  • All aspects of social life
  • Skills and personal development
  • Health, medical needs and general well being
  • All aspects of personal care
    • Our team of Personal Support Workers are directly employed and work collaboratively to ensure their client’s aspirations, wellbeing and safety are met.This is a rewarding and challenging role. We are not seeking any particular prior experience or qualifications in health and social care as full training will be provided and will be on-going. You will need the following core skills and personal characteristics:
  • Very good standard of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ICT and social media savvy.
  • A proactive and resourceful outlook, unfazed by the unexpected and unfamiliar.
  • Equally comfortable working in a team and on own initiative.
  • Able to work on a 24/7 rota and available to work away from home - UK and abroad
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards one)
