Job Description

Job Title: Maths TeacherLocation: Wakefield WF5Contract Type: Full TimeStart Date: February 2024 to atleast EasterPay Scale: £130-200 per day.Are you an enthusiastic Maths Teacher looking for a new challenge for the new half termReed Education are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher for a school in Wakefield who are looking for someone with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive Maths lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation.
  • Employ various teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Evaluate and assess students progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their mathematical skills.
  • Identify students who require additional support and develop appropriate strategies to address their individual needs.
Qualifications:
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Prior experience teaching mathematics at the Year 7 to Year 11 (KS3 and KS4) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and curriculum standards.
  • Has the ambition and enthusiasm to deliver their subject.
