Through our multi-geographical presence (UK, Ireland, and Western Europe) we have a deep consumer insight which is a key component of the business.About the roleWe are currently recruiting for aSampling Technicianon a permanent basis for ourOssett site in Wakefield, UK. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking to expand their career in the field of quality and compliance and will provide fantastic learning opportunities working in technical team.Key responsibilities

• Co-ordinate placing stock on quality hold and release of stock in line with business needs
• Maintain and execute Sampling Schedule (ATP, Microbial, Allergens, Chemical, Nutritional testing)
• Test result entry into ERP system (SAP)
• Working closely with Production, Warehouse, and other Departments to support the finished product manufacturing process
• Co-ordinate and participate in organoleptic taste panels
• Preparation of trending and key performance indicators
• Dispersal of Technical data and Quality information
• Participate in internal and external quality audits
• Conduct other duties within the technical department as required
• Ordering of consumables within the technical department
• Assist with food safety investigations and prevention of food safety risks wherever possible.

Qualifications and skills

• Follow procedures, policies, and instructions, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions is essential for this role.
• Good communication skills, computer skills, organisational skills, attention to detail, analyzing, and troubleshooting are essential to this position
• Positive and can do attitude
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
