Job Description

Parts AdministratorSalary: £22,000 per annumMonday to Friday 8.30am-5pmFree ParkingPost Recruitment are looking for a Parts Administrator to join an extremely successful run business based in Ossett.Role and responsibilities

  • Following engineers reports, issue quotes to customers, interface with service technicians and ensure their parts needs are being met, purchasing parts and accessories, receiving and processing customer orders, keeping records up to date and recordingthe movement of stock/ parts.
  • Reading parts manuals and catalogues in order to determine prices and replacement parts
  • Obtaining and comparing parts prices from suppliers
  • Raising repair quotes and sending them to customers
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Placing orders with suppliers accounting for customer purchase orders and warehouse demand. Prioritizing orders for spare parts to deal with break downs
  • Checking items, prices, delivery dates, quantities or supplier order confirmation
  • Creating new parts and accessories records on system Ensure engineers are adequately supplied with all parts
  • Notifying service team about back orders and delayed shipments
  • Dealing with telephone and on-line parts enquiries
  • Ensure accurate identification of customer needs by means of parts catalogues and computerised stock lists
  • Raising invoices and sales receipts
  • Processing payments
  • Preparing, packing and shipping orders by using couriers systems
  • Arrange return and replacement of the defective items under warranty, wrongly ordered or delivered items
  • Submitting parts warranty claims
  • Ensure stock levels are adequate but not excessive
  • Answering phone calls and booking break downs
  • Assisting sales team in determining accessories prices and availability
  • Verifying receiving shipments by checking order against packing list at service administrator absence
  • Receiving and booking in parts
