Job Description

Principal Resourcing are seeking to appoint an engaging and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join the supportive staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.The full-time role is expected to commence ASAP and will initially be on a temporary basis with the potential of a permanent role for the right applicant. You will be confident supporting the teaching and learning of pupils across the KS3/KS4Geography curriculum to meet the needs of the department.The Secondary Academy promotes a safe and caring environment for learning, where pupils feel confidence and supported in their learning journey. The welcoming staff team offer strong pastoral support, positive working relationships and a creative atmospherefor progressive education and enjoyment.We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers. You can expect to be paid up to £230 per day depending upon your experience and the role requirements.Skills and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications - QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of delivering curriculum subjects up to GCSE and A-Level
  • A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
  • ECT’s are welcome to apply
