Job Description

Aintree Primary Care Network is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Physicians Associate to an exciting and innovative new role within a multidisciplinary team supporting Care Homes. The role will be supported by the four GP practices in the network and will work closely with community matrons, clinical pharmacists, care co-ordinators, district nurses, therapists and social workers to provide enhanced care in care homes locally.This an opportunity to work holistically and provide a high quality, safe and effective care to a vulnerable population. The post holder will need to be able to work as part of a team but also independently under the supervision of a GP or matron. We are looking for someone with good interpersonal and communication skills as well as a proactive approach and the ability to use initiative and anticipate issues as they arise. Clinical supervision, support and development will be offered to develop the role.
