Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a History teacher on behalf of one of our key partner secondary schools that is based in Wigan.The school looking to appoint for this role in the coming weeks and wish to meet with teachers whocan deliver History to pupils across the ability range at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.The school are offering employment for this role on a temporary basis for 12 months and are open to applications from Newly Qualified teachers (ECTs) as well as more qualified teachers of History.History teacher

• Full-time History teacher required to start in September 2022

• Must hold QTS specialising in History or have experience teaching History to GCSE

The school have an outlined a need due to a key member of their teaching who is set to relocate ahead of September 2022.The successful teacher will take responsibility for a full-time position within a well-respected Secondary school that is located in the Wigan LEA. The incoming teacher will be responsible for a complete History timetable including classes of mixed abilitysets at GCSE level.The school aim to appoint a passionate and dedicated History teacher that will be able to teach well planned and engaging lessons to their students on a regular basis. It will be crucial in support of further employment that the incoming History teacherwill be able enhance the learning of their pupils in order to achieve excellent results at GCSE level.Situated on the outskirts of Wigan town centre, this school is easily accessible via car or public transport from the surrounding areas; Skelmersdale, Chorley, Standish & Ashton-in-Makerfield.
