Job Description

Sustainability Consultant | Greater London | Permanent Ref: DB12002Competitive Salary Plus Benefits Our client is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join their leading award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a wide range of large projects within the residential, mixed-use,commercial, industrial, and educational sectors.Sustainability Consultant Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of Low Carbon and Sustainable Design and London Plan Energy Policy
  • Qualified Part L Assessor (SAP/SBEM)
  • Qualified BREEAM New Construction and BREEAM Refurbishment & Fit-out Assessor
  • Ability to use sustainability software such as IES:VE
  • Brilliant time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Sustainability Consultant Duties:
  • Build client relationships and liaise with multidisciplinary design teams
  • Undertake overheating simulations and present report findings
  • Develop project sustainability design proposals to the project team and client
  • Complete project assessments including Part L (SAP, SBEM), BREEAM, HQM, PassiveHaus
  • Assess project designs for BREEAM compliance and recording evidence
  • Undertake energy surveys of buildings
  • Prepare sustainability assessments, planning reports, and presentations
