Qualified Nursery Practitioner Salary £25kWe are recruiting for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner - Level 3, for an Outstanding nursery School, located within distance to OrpingtonThe nursery is open all year round, 7 am - 7 pm, only closed at weekends and bank holidays. Shifts can start between 6:45 am and 10 am, finishing between 3:45 pm and 7 pm. Shifts are 9 hours with an hour unpaid lunch break.Duties:- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs- Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors- Assist with feeding, diapering, and personal care routines- Monitor childrens health and well-being, including administering medication if necessary- Communicate with parents and provide updates on their childs progress- Maintain a clean and organised nursery spaceSKILLS:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues- Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for children- Strong organisational skills to plan and implement activities- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and follow safety protocols- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood educationPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.At KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
