Job Description

Private Client Tax Senior ManagerMy client is looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join their team on a Hybrid basis.You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private client tax relations and ensuring the smooth operation of the private client tax function.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Client Portfolio: Manage and expand your own client portfolio, ensuring that the firm delivers maximum value to clients, which in turn optimises fee levels.
  • Oversee Tax Work: Supervise the planning, prioritising, resourcing, and allocation of client corporate tax work (both compliance & advisory) to ensure an efficient team workflow.
  • Monitor Progress: Keep track of work progress and maintain transparent communication with all clients and internal stakeholders about the progress of jobs.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a go-to person within the firm for tax technical advice in a specific area.
  • Professional Development: Continually enhance private client tax technical skills through training courses, research, and by staying updated with changes in legislation and HMRC policy.
  • Seek Advisory Work: Pro-actively identify opportunities for tax advisory work from allocated private client tax work.
  • Delegate and Assist: Delegate tasks to colleagues to meet their training needs and be available to assist with queries.
  • Business Development: Build your own market profile/network and engage in new business development activities to generate your own leads and convert these leads into clients.
Qualifications:
  • CTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Extensive personal taxation experience.
