Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Sales Engineer to join a global manufacturing business of combustion management and control systems for industrial burner applications. Along with a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, you will also receiveprivate pension and healthcare, 23 days holiday, plus 5 family days for emergencies/problems with childcare/plumbers etc. as well as excellent career prospects.As a business, they provide solutions to everything from the Tower of London to Vegas Casino Hotels! They are well known in their industry forquality, excellence, and innovation, and whilst they are a global business, they are still very much a family firm and are celebrating their 50thyear this year.As a Graduate Technical Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working in a customer facing role including assisting with and delivering sales presentations
  • Providing support to ensure customer satisfaction and product support
  • Assisting the sales team with the development of existing customers and new business opportunities and facilitating the building of long-term relationships.
  • Ensuring best solutions are delivered to the customer both technically and commercially.
We are looking for a Graduate Technical Sales Engineer who has the following skills and experiences:
  • An electrical, mechanical or process engineering background.
  • ONC, HNC degree level education or other vocational background.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with excellent IT skills
  • Must have the ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a small team working in multi skilled environments
  • A strong work ethic and a can do attitude is essential
  • Positive and enthusiastic
  • Professional appearance and behaviour
  • A full UK driving licence is necessary
The role is located at their headquarters in Biggin Hill, there will be some travel required so you must be prepared to work away.
