Job Description

Cleaner - Ormskirk L39 2AZ£10.37 - £20.11 per hour plus accrued holiday payCan you bring your domestic skills and knowledge to the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust Would you like to be part of a team that works well together, always there to help each other If you answered yes, then the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust would love to hear from you This is a full-time cleaning role, based at the Ormskirk District General Hospital, Dicconson Way, Wigan Rd, Ormskirk L39 2AZ. This is a Band 2 position paying £10.37 - £20.11 per hour.Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 4pm-8pm OR 2pm-8pm + some overtime on weekends (8am-1.30pm OR 3pm-7pm)The cleaners will be providing the following support to the Estates & Facilities team

  • To assist in general cleaning of the hospital wards and other clinical areas.
  • To ensure infection control policies are adhered to which ensures we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for the safe use of cleaning equipment
The skills required are
  • Experience in a domestic / similar role
  • Excellent customer service
  • NHS experience - desirable but not essential
  • Reliable and hard working
