Job Description

Account Handler / Estimator - Packaging & LabelsLocation: EssexSalary: DOECompany: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.Role: Handling key established accounts to provide internal coordination and a point of contact for suppliers, customers and both the sales and production teams relating to all technical enquiries and quote requests.To build and maintain relationships with suppliers as well as helping to establish new relationships as new opportunities present themselves. This is not a sales role, but you have the opportunity to expand on current client porfolios if applicable.To ensure the accuracy for costing estimations and the availability of the correct materials, tools etc. required to complete customer orders.This would suit an account handler / estimator with great customer service skills.

  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers, dealing with any issues they may encounter
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Participate in meetings with internal teams such as order processing and production
  • Coordinate all customer pricing enquiries, making proactive contact with customers, suppliers and the production team where necessary
  • Respond to all customer pricing enquiries in a timely manner ensuring that where necessary all coordination of supplier pricing, material & product availability, technical specifications and production capabilities has been effectively managed
    • Requirements:
  • Experience working within an account handler / customer service position
  • Estimating experience highly desirable - forecasting, costs, quotations etc.
  • Experience working within a packaging and labels manufacturer highly desirable but not essential
  • Print production knowledge - ideally within packaging and labels but will consider large and small format, POS etc.
  • Colour management experience
  • Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious team member
