Teaching & Learning support assistantRole location: OldhamStarting date: ASAPSalary- £1350-£1600 PM.Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm.Empowering Learning are working with a primary and secondary school looking for an excellent and experienced Teaching and Learning support assistant to join one of our happy and successful schools. The candidate must be flexible, resilient, and enthusiastic.You will be required to work across all areas of the school, so experience of, Key Stage 2 and 3 is desirable.At our special educational needs schools, you will need to be passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to change gears at any moment. Teaching Assistants need to be comfortable within their role and understand it is everchanging,you will "wear one of many hats" while in work: that of the teaching assistant, the entertainer, the counsellor, the good cop and, at times, the less good cop (putting in boundaries and sometimes saying the words "No, because") All these roles will be helpingour pupils to learn in the class and understand the acceptable rules of life.
