Job Description

You the Stock Control / Buying Assistant will raise purchase orders & look after sales reports for Amazon and other areas.Client DetailsA market leading textile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce textiles for the Bedroom, living room etc. They have a great reputation in the industry with a number of long service employeesDescription

  • Raise Factory Purchase orders.
  • Send Factory Purchase orders.
  • Ensure shipment dates are maintained on JDE.
  • Update greige Tracker when an order is raised.
  • Liaise with the factory on a monthly basis to ensure they agree with the balance of greige.
  • Combine the delivery Schedule of all the Stock controllers. From this list:
  • Chase factory to ensure they have made a booking with SEKO in a timely manner.
  • Chase factories for packing List and invoices.
  • Checking the packing list against PO qty to ensure the goods have shipped in full.
  • If they have not shipped in full - actively chase the factory for an update.
  • Ensure any problems are escalated to the agents in Near East so they can follow it up.
  • Provide the sourcing team with a list of priority orders.
  • Liaising with the sourcing team when factory information is required.
  • Update month end Sales by Design reports.
  • Update JDE when lines need to set to obsolete.
  • Update JDE when the status of a line changes.
  • Ensure all factories confirm carton sizes and any non-standard cartons are approved by the warehouse for New Lines
  • Work with product executives to ensure correct carton weight/dims etc are on JDE and Range documents
  • Plan rebuys for slow moving lines - in time once experience gained
  • Sending/Maintaining Customer stock feeds - this is across several accounts
  • Any Other stock control admin
  • Cumulative Sales reports -
  • Amazon best sellers - weekly
  • Monthly updating customer order forms and price lists
  • General admin duties as and when required
  • Profile
  • Enthusiastic & able to work cooperatively with different departments
  • Able to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines whilst attention to detail is paramount.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel & good with numbers
  • Good system knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work on own initiative
